A mature attitude toward the world toward other people and most importantly toward yourself produces in you a positive expectancy. Positive expectancy comes from all the internal or ‘self’ relationships, self-awareness, self-confidence, self-acceptance, self-respect and self-reliance. Positive expectancy requires a no limitations belief in you. That involves calm and honest self-confidence. It demands that you be goal directed and progressively develop the following:

Positive expectancy involves accepting you, as you are, being aware of your strengths your weaknesses and your assets and your liabilities. This also involves a strong drive for self-improvement. Setting your goals and working out your plan of action will help identify and overcome doubt.
Crystallise your thinking know where you stand now and know where you are going. You will relate well to events, circumstances and people because you have a set of values, goals and objectives. This enables you to realise your full potential. Positive expectancy toward life and the people who share it with you will mean you will have all the things you expect actually happen.
You will create a self-fulfilling prophecy people do what they are expected to do. This includes what you expect of yourself - if you set challenging goals and devise a workable plan for reaching them you will soon find that the success you expect will be a reality.
Creativity is an even finer art than pure inventive genius. It is a conceptual skill a willingness to innovate to try the untried to see the usual in unusual ways and to relate the normally unrelated. Creativity allows you to face a changing world and an uncertain future without feeling undue stress.
